The Chance: Casual Assistant Kitchen Hand

n

- Schedule:Monday – Friday, 5 days per week is a must
n
- Location:Waterford
n
- Hours:9am-4pm
n
- Compensation:Up to $40/hr + Super + Retention
n
- For the period of 9 November 2026 to 8 January 2027, with the possibility of ongoing casual work beyond this period?

You will need a Paid Blue Card

n

Your Responsibilities

n

n
- Complete daily dishwashing duties using the commercial dishwasher.
n
- Assist the Lead Kitchen Hand with food preparation and other kitchen duties.
n
- Prepare, organise and set up dishes and meal service items as required.
n
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning and ensure work areas, equipment and utensils are kept clean and hygienic.
n
- Follow appropriate food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety practices.
n
- Support the kitchen team with tasks as required throughout the day.
n
- Assist with the smooth and timely preparation and delivery of meals to children.
n
- Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to maintain an organised and efficient kitchen environment.
n
- Follow instructions from the Lead Kitchen Hand and other relevant team members.
n
- Undertake other reasonable kitchen duties as required.
