Technician/ Sales Consultant – Full Time

We are looking for a confident, fit & energetic hands‐on Technician/Sales Consultant who is commercially minded to join our growing team. This is a varied role initially combining customer service/practical technical work and sales with a mind to a future full‐time National Technician role. You will install large equipment, train customers, and give technical and after‐sales support, including troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs. Full training will be provided to develop your product knowledge and technical skills. We are looking for someone with a practical mindset who is willing to learn and enjoys solving problems.

You will also be managing customers from initial enquiry through to sale and handover, conduct consultations and product demonstrations, prepare and follow up quotations, and develop new business opportunities. This will be until the technician role becomes full time.

Key responsibilities

- Provide first point of contact technical support and troubleshooting
n
- Be responsible for servicing, repairs and equipment installations Australia wide
n
- Travel nationwide to customer sites for installations, servicing and training
n
- Provide customers with practical equipment training
n
- Manage and follow up new sales enquiries
n




- Conduct customer consultations and product demonstrations
n
- Prepare and follow up quotations
n
- Develop new business and industry relationships
n
- Provide customer service throughout the sales process
n
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales records
n

- Confident and skilled with customers
n
- Practical and comfortable working with equipment
n
- Physically fit
n
- Organised and self‐motivated
n
- Comfortable working independently
n
- Willing to learn and develop further technical skills
n
- Comfortable travelling interstate when required, on a weekly basis and for extended periods
n
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence
n
- Previous sales, trade, mechanical, electrical or technical experience is essential
n
- Commercially minded and motivated by sales
