Healthcare Recruitment Consultant (Contract)

Health N Home provides disability, aged care and community healthcare services across Australia. We are looking for an experienced recruitment consultant or recruitment business to help us build a strong workforce of nurses, support workers, cleaners and other community care professionals.

We are aiming to grow our casual workforce over the next three months, with further growth planned. You will work closely with our Operations and Business Development Manager and operational teams to help us find suitable people and get them ready to work.

About the engagement

You will manage recruitment from sourcing through to appointment, with a strong focus on proactive candidate outreach and keeping applicants moving through the process.

Your work will include:

- Sourcing nurses, support workers, cleaners and other healthcare and home support professionals
- Building and maintaining candidate pipelines across the locations where we deliver services
- Writing and posting job advertisements and using job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks and other sourcing channels
- Screening candidates, conducting interviews and completing reference checks
- Coordinating interviews and keeping candidates and hiring managers informed
- Working with our team to progress required pre-employment and compliance checks




- Maintaining accurate recruitment records and providing transparent weekly updates on vacancies, candidate progress and appointments
- Identifying delays in the recruitment process and recommending practical improvements

We will agree on recruitment priorities and targets at the start of the engagement. Success will be measured by the quality of the candidate pipeline and the number of suitable people who complete the required checks and are ready to work.

About you

You will bring:

- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment, ideally in healthcare, aged care, disability or community services
- A track record of finding candidates through proactive sourcing, as well as advertising
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies and maintain momentum in a busy recruitment programme
- Good judgement about candidate suitability, particularly for roles supporting people in their homes and communities
- Strong communication, organisation and follow-through
- Confidence working with hiring managers and giving straightforward updates on progress and challenges

Experience recruiting at volume for a casual workforce would be particularly valuable.
