Luv-a-Duck is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Ballarat plant. You will take ownership of electrical maintenance at the site, working alongside our Maintenance Fitter to keep production equipment running safely and reliably.

This is a hands-on role in a two-person maintenance team. You will work Monday to Friday and alternate on‑call weeks with the Fitter. Leave coverage may require you to work across other shifts from time to time.

What you will do

- Find and repair electrical faults on production machinery and equipment.
- Complete planned maintenance and identify issues before they cause downtime.
- Install and modify equipment, cables and wiring.
- Work with production staff to keep the plant running effectively.
- Contribute to maintenance projects and improvements.
- Follow site safety, food quality and hygiene requirements.

About you

You are a qualified electrician with a current electrical licence and at least five years’ experience in industrial, production or facility maintenance. You have solid fault‑finding skills, can work independently and communicate well with others.

An understanding of PLC and SCADA systems is important. Food manufacturing experience and additional tickets, such as EWP or working at heights, would be an advantage.
