Warehouse / Forklift Operator | Afternoon Shift (2PM-10PM)

OUR CLIENT

Our client has recently opened a new warehouse in Moorabin VIC and is looking for experienced Forklift Operators The role involves exposure to advanced forklifts and highly automated systems. Long-term ongoing with a view to going permanent full-time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Ongoing, full-time hours, Monday to Friday

SHIFT & PAY

Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | $40.32/hr + Super

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Forklift & Warehouse Operations
- Safely operate counterbalance and/or high-reach forklifts to move, stack and organise stock within the warehouse and yard.
- Load and unload trucks, containers and other vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Receive, check, unload and put away incoming goods.
- Lift pallets, construction materials, electrical products and other bulky items.
- Assist with picking, replenishment, packing, scanning and general warehouse duties.
- Perform manual handling tasks as required.
- Conduct routine forklift and equipment safety checks before operation.
- Assist with stock checks and inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean,



organised and secure warehouse and yard environment.
- Dispatch Coordination
- Coordinate daily dispatch schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Prepare and process dispatch documentation, delivery dockets, and shipping paperwork.
- Liaise with warehouse staff and transport providers to ensure efficient order dispatch.
- Monitor outgoing orders and resolve any dispatch-related issues.
- Ensure all customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

About You

- 2-3 years of experience in operating high reach forklifts
- Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, manufacturing, construction or distribution environment
- Previous experience in a Dispatch Coordinator, Dispatch Clerk, or Warehouse Administration role.
- Experience handling bulky, long or heavy materials is highly regarded
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling duties
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments where required
- Own reliable transport is highly regarded for some locations and early starts.

PPE REQUIREMENTS

- Candidates must have their own: High-visibility vest.
- Safety boots
