Key functions
- - Provide support in the delivery of nursing care as directed by the Doctor
- - Assist Doctors with patient care
- - Contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required
- - Communicate effectively with patients and other health care team members in accordance with appropriate protocol
- - ECG's (training provided)
- - Spirometry (training provided)
- - Hearing/Eye testing
- - simple wound dressings
- - Assist in minor procedures
- - Assist in the collection of clinical data as allocated by a Doctor
- - patient history
- - specific patient observations
- - Document patient procedures in progress notes
- - Sterilisation of instruments
- - Stock and maintain doctors rooms
- - Maintain the appearance and function of equipment in Treatment room and throughout surgery
- - Promote and maintain a clean, comfortable and secure environment for patients
- - General duties as required by Doctors and Practice Manager
