Early Childhood Trainee Educator – Penrith

Kradle 2 Krayons Penrith is a family owned and run long day care centre. Local families have trusted us for 14 years. We're not a big corporate chain. We have a close-knit team, and management is always easy to talk to.

We're looking for a keen full time Early Childhood Trainee Educator to join our team while completing a fully funded CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

n

This is an entry-level role, so you don't need any experience or qualifications. School leavers and career changers are very welcome.

What you'll do

n

- Help plan and run play-based learning experiences under the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
n
- Help with children's daily routines, including meals, rest, nappy changes and toileting
n




- Help keep children safe, supervised and well cared for at all times
n
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families
n
- Keep the learning spaces clean, safe and inviting
n
- Complete your Cert III coursework and assessments on time
n

- You care about children's wellbeing, safety and learning

- You're committed to child safety and willing to learn and follow the NSW Child Safe Standards, child protection duties and centre policies
n
- You're a team player who's happy to pitch in
n
- You're confident, friendly and communicate well with children, families and colleagues
n
- You're physically active and comfortable with floor play, lifting, bending and outdoor play in all seasons
n
- You're reliable and punctual, and you want to learn
n
- You're committed to completing your full-time traineeship

Requirements

n

n
- The right to work in Australia
n
- A NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) for paid work, or willingness to get one before you start
n
- Willingness to complete First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (HLTAID012)
n
- Available full time, Monday to Friday, on a roster
n
