ABOUT THE ROLE

n

We're looking for a friendly, energetic all-rounder to join our Smithfield team. You'll help customers at the counter, pick and pack orders, load goods and lend a hand wherever it's needed. It's a busy, hands-on role, so you'll enjoy being on the go and working as part of a close-knit team.

n

Our store is open from 6.00 am to 4.30 pm, five days a week.

n

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

n

n
- Lending a hand across the store and counter sales when needed
n
- Provide efficient and friendly service to trade and retail customers in the yard
n
- Safely load and unload building materials and stock
n
- Operate a forklift and other equipment in a safe and responsible manner
n
- Pick, prepare, and stage customer orders accurately
n
- Maintain a clean, organised, and secure yard environment
n
- Support stock movements, replenishment, and general housekeeping
n




- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures at all times
n
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet customer and delivery timeframes
n

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

n

n
- A friendly, helpful approach and a genuine focus on customers
n
- Experience safely loading, unloading and looking after stock
n
- The fitness to safely lift and manually handle goods
n
- Good attention to detail and pride in getting things right
n
- A strong commitment to keeping yourself, your team and visitors safe
n
- A current LF forklift licence — this is essential
n
- A hands-on, can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch in
n
