We are seeking enthusiastic & reliable Front End Loader Operators for immediate start in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, for a recycling plant. You will be operating the front-end loader within a warehouse environment.

- Monday to Friday 6am -2: 30 pm day shift with overtime potential. Some flexibility required on start time for the first 2 days for training purpose only.

Duties & Responsibilities

n

n
- Proficiently operate Front End Loader and Excavator for efficient loading and unloading activities
n
- Complete pre-start checks on equipment
n
- Maintain high standards of safety, health, and environmental practices
n
- Face loading / Load & unload trucks and hoppers
n
- Collaborate with team members to achieve productivity goals and project milestones.
n
- Soil sifting to separate rock and foreign matter.
n
- Soil blending.
n
- Assisting with process work as required.
n
- Labouring duties including some manual handling.
n




- Occasional truck wash duties & general housekeeping
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Front End Loader / Excavator license with a minimum of 2-3 years' recent operating experience including a sales loader.
n
- Quarry or recycling experience is highly regarded.
n
- Forklift license is a distinct advantage
n
- Strong commitment to occupational health and safety, Site specific PPE including full coveralls and breathing apparatus when required.
n
- Physically fit and be able to do manual duties.
n
- Flexible and prepared to work overtime to support work requirements.
n
- All applicants must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to do a pre-employment drug & alcohol testing if required.
