ABOUT THE POSITION KNA ZAHRA PTY LTD (T/A Q NAILS MACKAY) located in Caneland Central, Mackay QLD 4740 is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Beauty Therapist (Nail Technician) to support the continued growth of our salon.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality beauty treatments in a professional, hygienic, and client-centred environment, ensuring an exceptional service experience at all times. The successful candidate must be able to consult with clients to identify their beauty needs, deliver treatments to a consistently high qualified standard, promote relevant products and services, and manage appointments efficiently.

Primary tasks and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Consulting with clients to assess hand and foot nail conditions, discuss beauty treatment needs, and recommend suitable nail styles, colours, finishes, and ongoing care plans. Performing a comprehensive range of professional nail services for hands and feet, including full sets, infills,



overlays, repairs, and routine nail maintenance. Delivering classic and deluxe manicure and pedicure treatments, including exfoliation, cuticle care, nail shaping, polish application, and relaxation hand and foot massage.

Creating and applying professional nail art and customised designs. Assessing the health and condition of nails and surrounding skin, and recommending appropriate treatments, products and services. Providing professional advice on nail aftercare and maintenance practices.

Advising on and retailing suitable beauty and nail care products and services. Perform and/or assist in the delivery of complementary beauty therapy services, including waxing, eyebrow, eyelash, permanent make-up application (cosmetic tattooing), head & facial spa/treatments. Maintaining strict hygiene, sterilisation, and workplace health and safety standards in accordance with salon, industry, and regulatory requirements.

Receiving and managing client bookings, appointments, service records, and payment processing. Providing training and upskilling other team members when requested. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE AQF Certificate III or higher in Beauty Therapy (or related field).

At least 1 year of relevant industry experience. Able to work independently and in a team. Strong communication and time management skills.

Capable of delivering excellent client service in a fast-paced environment. Good knowledge of beauty treatments, products, and industry trends. Work Type: Full time Salary: $80000-85000 Job Publish: 01-09-2026 Job Expire: 01-10-2026
