Multiple grant streams need a safe pair of hands on revenue recognition. And a CFO who wants someone who can own the balance sheet from week one, not be walked through it.

You'll be joining a well-established not-for-profit health organisation, mid-way through a significant systems and process uplift, for an initial six months. Three days a week in the Western Sydney office to start, easing to two or three once you're across things.

To do this well, you'll need:

- Solid technical command of revenue recognition standards as they apply to government grant and contract funding (AASB 1058 / AASB 15) — this is tested, not assumed, so you'll need to be able to explain it, not just reference it
- Financial Accountant or Senior Financial Accountant experience, ideally in a not-for-profit or government-funded environment, with real ownership of balance-sheet reconciliations, month-end and audit schedules
- Comfort working independently in a finance team mid-change, without needing everything mapped out for you
