Jandowae Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a two-week contract position in rural Queensland. Based at Jandowae Multipurpose Health Service, this role offers the chance to work in a close-knit healthcare setting where your clinical skills and rural experience will make a real difference. The contract runs from 28 September to 11 October 2026, with hours up to 80 per fortnight.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation qualification
- Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing
- Competence in cannulation and triage assessment
- Proven experience working in rural or remote healthcare environments

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recent experience in multipurpose or mixed acute settings
- Familiarity with rural health service protocols and resource constraints
