The Security Hub (Victorian Private Security Business Licence No. 922-934-60S) is currently recruiting professional, reliable and customer-focused Casual Security Officers to join our Major Events Team for the Phillip Island MotoGP.

Event dates: 21 to 25 October 2026
n Location: Phillip Island, Victoria
n Accommodation: Provided for the duration of the event

This is an excellent opportunity to work at one of Victoria's major sporting events and become part of The Security Hub's growing Major Events Team.

n

We are looking for approachable and professional Security Officers who can deliver a high standard of customer service while helping maintain a secure and welcoming environment for patrons, staff and event stakeholders.

n

Key responsibilities may include:

n

- Providing professional customer service and assistance to patrons
n
- Access control and checking authorised entry
n
- Crowd management and monitoring designated areas
n
- Conducting security patrols
n
- Following site procedures and instructions from supervisors
n
- Identifying and reporting security or safety concerns
n
- Responding calmly and professionally to incidents
n
- Maintaining a professional presence throughout the event
n

To be considered, applicants must have:

n

n
- A current Victorian Security Licence
n
- A current First Aid certificate
n




- Availability between 21 and 25 October 2026
n
- Strong verbal and written English skills
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- A professional appearance and positive attitude
n
- The ability to work morning, afternoon or night shifts as required
n
- The ability to work effectively within a large event team
n

Applicants who are available for the entire event period will be given preference.

n

The following will be highly regarded:

n

n
- Previous major-event security experience
n
- Crowd control or customer service experience
n
- Traffic management experience
n
- Experience working in busy public environments
n

n

These positions are offered on a casual basis, and applicable Security Services Industry Award rates will be paid. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the event.
