To be considered, you will need to be able to provide evidence of:

n

n
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, catering or aged care is desirable
n
- Experience working in Australia
n
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices




n
- Food Safety Certificate, where required
n
- Valid Police Check
n
- 100 Points of ID
n
- Valid Work Rights
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
n
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccination, where required by the facility
n

What will you be doing? Food Service Assistant

n

n
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments to residents
n
- Setting up dining areas and ensuring they are clean and welcoming
n
- Delivering meals and beverages to residents as required
n
- Assisting residents with meal and beverage service
n
- Following individual dietary requirements and meal preferences
n
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
n
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen and dining areas
n
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
n
- Following infection control and workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Working collaboratively with kitchen, care and facility staff
n
- Providing friendly and respectful service to residents
n
