Cumberland Charter Yachts is a multi award winning business at Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach Queensland. We offer bareboat (skipper yourself) charters across a fleet of 40 vessels for guests to hire and holiday around the Whitsunday Islands.

About the role
Casual position with 38 - 40 hours per week - IMMEDIATE START
We are seeking a skilled and conscientious maintenance team member who takes pride in their work and approaches every task with integrity and attention to detail. By helping maintain a fleet that is safe, reliable, and impeccably presented, you will play an essential role in delivering outstanding guest experiences and strengthening our reputation as a multi-award-winning charter operator.
You will be required to perform duties as directed by the Operations Manager and Dock Supervisor.
About you
- Previous experience maintaining vessels mechanically and cosmetically
- Conduct turnarounds preparing vessels for its next charter
- Mechanical checks to a high standard of accuracy, integrity and efficiency
- Brief charter guests on the vessel and safety
- Care of all tools when in use and in storage
- Follow protected working practices at all times
- Clean, presentable & reliable
- Vessel handling skills in close proximity advantageous
- Ability to offer longevity in the role
- Team player but can also work autonomously
