THE ROLE

n

We are seeking an experienced Showroom Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day performance of a busy showroom in Fortitude Valley. Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead a small team, drive sales and conversion, maintain high presentation standards and ensure every customer receives a consistent, high-quality experience. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, with flexibility required to work one weekend day.

Day-to-Day

n

- Lead, coach and motivate a team of three, including one full-time and two casual team members
n
- Set the standard for exceptional customer service and lead from the front on the showroom floor
n
- Drive sales, conversion and other key retail performance measures
n
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business through proactive client engagement
n
- Manage daily showroom operations including opening and closing, stock control, rostering and team administration
n
- Maintain a polished and inspiring showroom presentation in line with seasonal and promotional activity
n




- Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial results
n
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching and ongoing development of team members
n
- Ensure operational, workplace health and safety and compliance requirements are maintained
n
- Work closely with the wider business to support campaigns, events, stock flow and customer deliveries

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

n

n
- Previous experience in a Store Manager, Showroom Manager, Assistant Store Manager or equivalent retail leadership position
n
- Proven ability to lead and develop a small team in a customer-focused environment
n
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of working towards sales and performance targets
n
- Confident managing day-to-day retail operations, rostering and store administration
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine customer-first approach
n
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of visual presentation
n
- Comfortable using retail technology, POS and CRM systems
n
- Experience within furniture, homewares, interiors, premium retail or a related environment will be highly regarded
n
- Energetic, organised and comfortable working in a hands-on showroom environment

SALARY

n

$85,000 - $95,000 + Super (depending on experience)
