We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Fitter for a full‐time permanent position based in Clayton South within a leading food manufacturing facility.

Maintenance Fitter – The Role

n

n
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on plant and utility machinery.
n
- Carry out rapid fault‐finding and repairs to minimise facility downtime.
n
- Conduct root‐cause analysis on equipment breakdowns to prevent repeat issues.
n
- Log work orders and maintenance records using CMMS software (MEX / Fiix).
n
- Work safely while adhering to site health, safety, and food safety standards.

Hours & Location

- Location: Clayton South
n
- Employment Type: Full‐time, Permanent
n
- Hours: 6am - 2pm
n
- Pay Rate: $50-$55 p/h + super + overtime penalties
n

What You Need

n

n
- Trade Qualification:



Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
n
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or FMCG setting.
n
- Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic/fault‐finding skills; experience using CMMS systems like MEX or Fiix is highly regarded.
n
- Mindset: Safety‐focused, dependable, and detail‐oriented.
