Ampcontrol are seeking a proactive, forward thinking Electrical Project Coordinator to join our growing team.

What you will do:

Due to Ampcontrol’s continued success and growth, we are expanding our team therefore seeking a proactive Electrical Project Coordinator who thrives off being organised and has pronounced planning, scheduling, and estimating skills!

Based in Mackay, this role is a full time opportunity reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager playing a key role within our Project Delivery Team.

You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of all technical and project related activities, specifically:

- Project execution, planning and coordination of HV electrical switchgear
- Review customer project scope and estimating
- Scheduling
- Procurement of estimated materials
- Subcontractor management – paint / heavy manufacturing
- Monitor and control project costs
- liaise with customers/clients and external companies as required
- Customer updates and reporting




- Coordinate, attend and when required chair project kick off or progress review meetings
- Understanding of design process
- Establish and maintain positive client relations to ensure customer satisfaction and continued forward forecast of repeat work
- Commitment to health and safety and delivering high quality product for the end user

What are we looking for from you?

- Sound computer skills
- Competent in MS Office applications including Microsoft Project
- Electrical Trade Certificate (desirable)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
