Role Description

The Factory Worker role at Magnum Australia is a full-time, on-site position based in Melbourne, VIC. This role involves operating machinery and production equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards, as well as performing packing and handling of finished products. The Factory Worker will inspect products for quality, assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and support safe material movement within the facility. Daily tasks include following production schedules,



completing documentation, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet output and safety targets. The role requires adherence to workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining a tidy, organized work area.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform packing, handling, and labeling tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Skills in machine operation and basic equipment setup within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with quality control, including visual inspections and basic measurement checks.
- Competence in forklift operation and safe materials handling (forklift license highly desirable).
- Basic maintenance skills for routine cleaning, minor adjustments, and reporting equipment issues.
- Previous experience in factory, warehouse, or industrial settings is beneficial.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team-based environment with clear communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift items within protected manual handling limits.
