As a Casual Sonographer, you will perform a range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations while delivering exceptional patient-centred care. You will work collaboratively with Radiologists, Medical Officers,



Nursing Staff and Allied Health professionals to support accurate diagnosis and positive health outcomes for our community.

What you will bring to the role

- Employment classification and grade will be determined based on qualifications held by the candidate.
- Radiographer level 3 Grade 3: Degree in Medical Radiation Science in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent course recognised by the MRPB and holds a qualification recognised by ASAR and current accreditation with ASAR.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist level 3 Grade 3: Diploma or Degree of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Technology) Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualifications recognised by the accreditation board of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM) and holds a qualification recognised by ASAE and current accreditation with ASAR.
- Cardiac Technologist Grade 2: Applicants who are not eligible for appointment as Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Diagnostic Radiographer will be appointed as Cardiac Technologist Grade 2 and holds a qualification recognised by ASAR and current accreditation with ASAR.
- Relevant experience in Sonography
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage time effectively in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated understanding of Work, Health and Safety, and Infection Control in a Sonography context
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
