About the Role

As the Cafe Manager you will lead the team running daily service at our busy South Yarra cafe. Lead from the floor, coach the team, meet service standards and help grow sales through great customer experiences.

Your life will never be dull as our customers love us and we love them! Pop in and see our busy cafe and share in the ambience. We are known for fantastic coffee, amazing French cakes and pastries all handmade, and a great customer experience.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about people, loves leading a team to excellence and thrives in a busy environment. Oh, and you must genuinely love hospo, like we do!

Key Responsibilities

As Store Manager, you will lead the team to provide an exceptional customer experience. You will work collaboratively with your team to achieve and exceed your store KPI's and the company’s objectives.

You will:

- Lead from the front through busy service periods
- Drive upselling and sales
- Coach baristas and cafe team members on service standards
- Manage service flow
- Manage stock ordering, waste, labour and roster planning
- Cycle through shifts to support the opening and closing teams

Skills and Experience

- Previous hospo experience is a must!
- Demonstrated customer first leadership skills and coaching capability
- The passion to motivate and mentor a team to achieve success
- Calm,



confident and solutions focused under pressure
- Ability to achieve sales targets and manage wages, costs and waste
- Proven ability in driving sales
- Flexible availability, including weekends and some public holidays
