Reporting to the Container and Warehouse Manager, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day coordination of warehouse operations while building strong relationships with both internal and external customers. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and taking ownership of their day-to-day warehouse requirements. This includes responding to enquiries, resolving issues, coordinating orders and ensuring customers receive timely and accurate updates. This role requires someone who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their responsibilities, while also being a strong team player who is willing to assist colleagues and get involved on the warehouse floor when required.

Key responsibilities

- Manage your own portfolio of clients and take ownership of their day-to-day warehouse requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding to enquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate and process sales orders, transport bookings, back orders and customer requests.
- Process orders received via email and ensure all information is accurate and complete.
- Process and print packing slips and other required warehouse documentation.
- Accurately process transactions for the movement of goods into and out of the warehouse, with a strong focus on return stock.
- Use warehouse management systems and handheld scanners to process stock movements, receipting, put-aways, picking and dispatches.
- Liaise with the warehouse and container team regarding order progress,



stock receipts, dispatches and general follow-up.
- Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities including orders, reworks, put-aways, loading and unloading.

About you

- Proven experience in a busy warehouse, logistics or transport environment.
- Experience managing your own client or customer workload.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle and resolve customer issues professionally.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, communicate clearly with internal teams, and confidently handle customer enquiries or issues from start to finish.
- Previous WMS experience is essential. Carroll Group Aus currently uses Carton Cloud.
- Experience using handheld warehouse scanners and/or RF scanning equipment.
- Strong computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to prioritise and manage a busy workflow.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive, practical and problem-solving approach.
