Due to business growth, we are recruiting for two distinct positions at our Greystanes branch.

n

An exciting opportunity is available for two proactive Technical Business Development Specialists to join our Blackwoods team.

n

As a Technical BD Specialist

n

You'll combine strong customer engagement capability with product expertise to confidently work with customers, understand their challenges, and identify opportunities to improve outcomes through the application of fit-for-purpose products and solutions.

n

Working across our Trade Tools & Accessories OR our PPE category, you'll engage directly with customers, undertake workplace assessments, conduct evaluations and demonstrations, and partner with sales teams to deliver solutions that address customer requirements. A key focus of the role is to create awareness, build preference and generate demand for designated brands and category solutions through technical expertise, customer engagement, and value‐led conversations.

What you'll be doing:

- Engage customers to understand their operating environment, challenges, and requirements, and identify opportunities where our products and solutions can add value.
n
- Create demand for targeted products and solutions, growing market share and sales.
n
- Run customer trials and demonstrations, including product evaluations and proof‐of‐concept activities.
n




- Conduct workplace assessments and recommend solutions that can improve safety, productivity, and compliance.
n
- Support customer projects, tenders, evaluations, and solution implementation activities.
n
- Bring customer feedback, product insights, and market observations back to our Sales and Category teams to support ongoing category development and future growth opportunities.

What you'll bring:

n

n
- Experience in business development, customer engagement and/or in relevant sales solutions
n
- The ability to build customer relationships and influence product adoption through credible technical advice and consultation.
n
- Robust problem‐solving skills and an ability to translate customer needs into fit‐for‐purpose recommendations.
n
- Confidence presenting, demonstrating products, and communicating with a broad range of stakeholders.
n
- B2B experience will be highly regarded.
n
- A current driver's licence will be required for success in this position.
