Maintenance Supervisor / Food Manufacturing - Clayton

We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a busy food manufacturing site in Clayton on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance professional with strong leadership and technical skills, with responsibility for leading a team of maintenance trades across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will oversee day-to-day maintenance activities, manage preventative maintenance, coordinate breakdowns and work closely with Engineering and Production teams to improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime. This is a day shift position, working Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 2:30pm. This is a great role for someonewith strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate maintenance trades

- Manage preventative and proactive maintenance
n
- Oversee breakdowns, fault finding and repairs
n
- Manage maintenance requests and work orders
n
- Drive Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement
n
- Manage rosters, spare parts and maintenance coverage
n

About You

- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
n
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
n
- Food manufacturing maintenance experience
n
- Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
- Experience with preventative maintenance and CMMS
n
- Relevant trade or engineering qualification
n
