E-Bike Mechanic needed for E-mobility Company in Melbourne!

We’re looking for an in-field bike mechanic to keep our electric bike fleet running smoothly! This is a fantastic opportunity for mechanically minded individuals to expand their skills and gain hands-on experience in a flexible, career-building role. Full training is provided, so no prior e-bike experience is needed.

Please note: This is a predominately field-based role that requires driving a van and working outdoors, with some in-warehouse work when required

- Role: In-Field Bike Mechanic
- Locations: Warehouse based in Port Melbourne (start your day here), with work throughout Melbourne suburbs
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
- Shifts: Monday to Friday, and occasional weekend shifts
- Pay Rate: $33.85p/h + super

What You’ll Do





- Perform basic maintenance on our e-bikes in the field using the Supply App (e.g., small parts replacement, brake adjustments)
- Receive training at the warehouse and use provided hand tools for repairs
- Report bikes that cannot be fixed in the field for retrieval and return to the warehouse
- Move any bikes around to ensure they are not blocking any pathways / public walkways
- Safely operate bikes in all weather conditions (rain or shine, unless unsafe)
- Ensure operational compliance and safety standards for all e-bikes
- Identify issues and find practical solutions to maximise operational bikes

About You

- 18+ years of age
- Experience using hand tools
- Mechanical experience in automotive, transportation, or bike industries is preferred
- Comfortable riding a bike as part of work
- Able to lift up to 30kg comfortably
- Confident using a mobile device, including in-app workflows (iOS experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and robust teamwork skills
