What You Will Do

As IT Support Officer, you will provide technology support at Marngoneet Correctional Centre and Karreenga Annex. You will help staff and prisoners use technology safely and effectively.

You Will

- provide responsive IT support for computers, applications and mobile devices
- troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues and upscale complex matters
- maintain accurate IT records, equipment registers and compliance records
- support video conferencing, audio visual equipment and other technology
- help manage, deploy, maintain and dispose of IT equipment.

About You

A relevant qualification in information technology, information systems, business systems or a related field is desirable. Relevant industry experience and technical skills may replace formal qualifications.

You Should Also Have

- hands-on experience supporting users with hardware, software and applications
- solid troubleshooting skills and good judgement about when to upscale issues
- experience configuring, rebuilding, maintaining and deploying computers and IT equipment




- accurate recordkeeping skills and experience with audits and compliance activities.

Ongoing, full-time role earning $81,496 - $98,955 per year, plus super.
