Core Responsibilities

n

n
- Managing zero hour rebuilds on surface and underground equipment, delivered on time and within budget
n
- Planning and coordinating day-to-day tasks for the workforce
n




- Conducting inspections and maintenance safely and efficiently, ensuring all records and reports are accurate and up to date
n
- Implementing and verifying safety control measures to mitigate operational risks
n
- Leading daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and task-based risk assessments
n
- Coaching, mentoring, and motivating your team to achieve high standards of workmanship and safety
n

What we need from you

n

n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy workshop and field maintenance, with supervisory experience.
n
- Strong leader with a proven ability to recruit, motivate, and manage a team.
n
- Focused on safety, able to identify risks and take action to reduce hazards.
n
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and mechanical skills.
n
- Experience with mobile mining equipment and component rebuilds.
n
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
n
- Skilled in coaching and mentoring workshop staff.
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Strong planning and organisation skills to monitor performance and schedule work efficiently.
