About the Role:

Are you a motivated and caring midwifery student looking to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting?

North Canberra Hospital's Maternity Department is seeking enthusiastic Assistants in Midwifery (AIMs) to join the team. Opportunities are available to students who have successfully completed their first year of a Bachelor of Midwifery, or who meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Position Description. A variety of part-time hours are available.

As an Assistant in Midwifery, you will support the midwifery team with patient care and a range of support duties, including patient transport, stocking supplies, responding to patient call systems,



and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for women and their families.

The successful applicant will be reliable, flexible, and committed to providing high-quality care. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.
