We are looking for an experienced cosmetic injector to join a clinic where the difficult cases are reviewed by the whole team, not carried alone.

WHAT MAKES VARA DIFFERENT

- A genuinely multidisciplinary team. Registered nurses, a Medical Director, a dermatology registrar and an affiliated plastic surgeon, working together in one clinic.

- A weekly clinical team meeting where complex cases are reviewed collaboratively, with three prescribers at the table, and one considered plan comes out. You will never carry a difficult case on your own.

- Advanced capability on site. Fotona laser, PRF, InMode ASCE exosomes, compounded prescription peels formulated with our compounding pharmacy, and ultrasound guided filler dissolving.

- Patients who stay. Many have been with our Clinical Director for eight years or more. They come to us for continuity of care, not for offers.

- Led by RN Kristy Shearn, Clinical Director, with Dr James Rigano as Medical Director.

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

You will own the full patient journey, from the first consultation through to treatment, review and long term planning.

n

n
- Conduct comprehensive cosmetic consultations and full face assessments
n
- Plan and deliver injectable treatments within your scope of practice
n
- Bring complex cases to our weekly clinical team meeting, and contribute to the plans of other clinicians
n
- Work with our dermal therapy and laser team on combined skin and injectable plans
n
- Educate patients, set realistic expectations and obtain informed consent
n
- Manage treatment reviews, follow up care and any complications
n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation to our audit standard
n
- Build long term patient relationships based on trust and results
n

In your first 12 months, you will build a rebooking patient base of your own and extend into advanced full face planning with mentoring from the Clinical Director.

ABOUT YOU

n

ESSENTIAL

n

n
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration (RN, NP or medical practitioner)
n
- Minimum 2 years of cosmetic injecting experience, working autonomously
n
- Confident full face assessment and treatment planning
n
- Strong anatomical knowledge, including recognition and management of complications
n
- Current professional indemnity insurance and BLS competency
n
- Advanced consultation and communication skills
n
- Commitment to ethical, patient centred care
n
- Professional presentation and attention to detail
n

THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Confident consulting and recommending multiple treatments to clients to help them achieve their results.
n
- Comfortable saying not today, and able to explain why in a way the patient thanks you for.
n
- Genuinely collaborative. You want your plans reviewed by other clinicians, and you contribute to theirs.
n
- Always learning. You audit your own results, you read, and you ask.
n
- Commercially aware. You see rebooking, retention and treatment planning as part of good care, not as selling.
n
- Reliable with documentation, follow up and the small things patients notice.

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

- An existing patient following
n
- Advanced full face treatment planning experience
n
- Experience within premium or medical led cosmetic clinics
n
- Experience with Fotona or other energy based devices
n
- Prescribing endorsement (NP)
n
- An interest in training, mentoring or teaching
n
- Social media and content creation experience
n
