Cyber Security & IT Lead n

We’re looking for an experienced Cyber Security Lead to take ownership of cyber security and IT operations across a growing national brand with big plans!!

Reporting directly to the CTO , this is a hands‑on role with genuine influence and visibility across the business. You’ll own the security space, help shape our IT environment, and play a key role in how we safely adopt AI.

What you’ll be doing n

n
- Own and mature the cyber security program, aligned to Essential Eight and ISO 27001 principles.
n
- Manage our Microsoft security stack across Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview and Conditional Access .
n
- Own identity, access, incident response and security awareness.
n
- Lead security reporting, risk management and relationships with external security partners.
n
- Provide hands‑on IT leadership across Microsoft 365, endpoints, networks and collaboration tools .
n
- Support technology migrations and consolidation across both businesses.
n
- Help establish safe and effective AI usage and security practices .
n

What we’re looking for nn




- 5+ years’ experience in a hands‑on security or security‑focused IT role.
n
- Strong Microsoft 365 security and Essential Eight knowledge.
n
- Solid understanding of identity, MFA, privileged access and least privilege.
n
- A pragmatic, risk‑based approach — focused on real security, not compliance theatre.
n
- Robust communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
n
- Someone who actively uses AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot to work smarter.
n
