This is a well-resourced project, where you will work closely with and report into an experienced Senior H&S; Manager, rather than being left to manage the entire safety function on your own.

H&S; Advisor | 300+ Unit Residential Project

A genuinely strong opportunity for an experienced H&S; Advisor to join one of Sydney's most established privately owned builder, working on a major 300+ apartment residential project.

This is a well-resourced project, where you will work closely with and report into an experienced Senior H&S; Manager, rather than being left to manage the entire safety function on your own.

The Role

n

You will take an active role across site safety and environmental compliance, including:

n

n
- Reviewing and approving SWMS, SDS, JSA and environmental documentation
n
- Managing staff inductions and contractor onboarding through Hammertec
n
- Conducting regular site safety and environmental inspections
n
- Identifying hazards and ensuring corrective actions are closed out
n
- Assisting with incident investigations and reporting
n
- Maintaining safety documentation, risk assessments and incident registers
n
- Monitoring waste management, pollution control and environmental requirements
n
- Working closely with subcontractors, Site Managers and the wider project team
n
- Driving a positive and proactive safety culture across site
n

n

This is a hands-on site role. They want someone who enjoys being out on the project,



speaking with trades and working collaboratively with the construction team.

What They Are Looking For

n

n
- Minimum 3 years' experience within construction safety / WHS in a similar role.
n
- Diploma, Cert IV or relevant qualification in WHS / OHS
n
- Residential or major commercial construction experience preferred
n
- Hammertec experience would be highly regarded
n
- Strong understanding of SWMS, risk assessments and subcontractor compliance
n
- Confident dealing with trades and subcontractors
n
- Strong communication skills
n
- Practical and solutions-focused approach to safety
n
- Someone who can build relationships rather than simply police the site
n
- Must have experience working in Australia,
n
