We are seeking a motivated and reliable person to undertake a Certificate III in Cleaning Operations traineeship while gaining practical, paid experience in a busy community-based work environment.

About the role

n

As a Cleaning Operations Trainee, you will learn and undertake a range of operational cleaning and site-maintenance duties. A key part of the role will involve supporting the day-to-day operation of a recycling drop-off facility and helping maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for the community.

n

Your duties will include:

n

- Assisting with the daily operation and presentation of a recycling drop-off facility
n
- Coordinating and supporting the movement of waste and recyclable materials in and out of the site
n
- Undertaking general cleaning and site-maintenance activities
n
- Following workplace procedures, environmental requirements and relevant regulations
n
- Complying with Occupational Health & Safety procedures and company safety protocols
n
- Identifying and reporting hazards to your supervisor
n
- Providing courteous service and assisting members of the community
n




- Working outdoors and adapting to changing weather conditions, priorities and service requirements
n
- Completing the practical and study requirements of the Certificate III in Cleaning Operations

This is a full-time traineeship working 38 hours per week, with typical hours from 7:00am to 3:56pm. The position includes a rostered day off approximately once per fortnight, and some overtime and weekend work may be required.



The successful applicant will also be required to complete a pre-employment medical.
