About the Role

n

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated warehouse operation in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving a rapid-paced materials handling environment, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on automated materials handling equipment
n
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify faults,



while identifying and implementing long-term solutions to prevent reoccurrence
n
- Accurately record all maintenance activities in line with agreed processes and procedures
n
- Build strong working relationships with the customer, supporting day-to-day operational activities
n
- Investigate equipment issues, identify root causes and work proactively with the operations team to minimise disruption
n
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute ideas to enhance system performance and reliability
n
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
