We are currently seeking trade qualified and experienced Light vehicle auto electrician to join our workshop based at Unit 6 & & A 9 Lyn Parade Prestons NSW 2170. Sharmas Investments Australia Pty Ltd, trading as QuickStop Automotive Mechanical and Auto Electrical Shop based at Unit 6& 7A Lyn Prade, Prestons NSW, Australia. We currently have one position available.

About The Role

n

You are to perform:

n

n
- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems, including batteries, alternators, starters, wiring, and lighting systems
n
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting using specialised equipment and diagnostic tools
n
- Install and maintain automotive electrical components and accessories
n
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
n
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on each job
n
- Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and in compliance with safety regulations
n
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding electrical issues, repair options, and quotations
n
- Keep work areas clean, organised,



and safe in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements
n
- Stay current with new vehicle technologies and electrical system developments
n

About You

n

n
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
n
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electrical problems.
n
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
n
- Experience with installing aftermarket electronic accessories.
n
- Familiarity with using diagnostic equipment/software.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
n
- Robust communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
n

Qualifications and Training

n

n
- Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology
n
- With at least 1 year of automotive electrical experience
n
- Knowledge of relevant electrical regulations and safety standards
n
- A current Australian driver licence
n
- Professional & excellent customer service experience.
n

n

Salary

n

n
- Salary in the range of $80k to $89k per annum plus superannuation
n
- Ongoing training and support
n

n

Hours of Work Full Time - 38 hours per week- Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm Saturday 8.00am to 12pm(overtime)
