About the role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer – Web, Mobile & FinTech Platform to join our engineering team at Quikky Move in Hume, ACT 2620. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge web and mobile applications, as well as financial technology solutions that power our platform. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that are both robust and user-friendly. This role is integral to our mission of delivering exceptional digital experiences to our customers and will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative features to life.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop full-stack web applications using modern technologies and frameworks

Build and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, ensuring optimal performance and user experience

Develop and integrate financial technology (FinTech) features,



including payment processing, transaction management, and security protocols

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality and development processes

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications to ensure reliability and scalability

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovations that enhance our platforms

Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy for web and mobile platforms

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience

3+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated expertise in web and/or mobile development

Experience with contemporary web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar technologies

Hands-on experience developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms

Familiarity with FinTech concepts, payment gateways,



or financial systems integration (preferred but not essential)

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design

Experience with version control systems, particularly Git

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Knowledge of software security best practices and compliance standards, especially relevant to FinTech

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is advantageous
