A well-established food manufacturing business located near Singleton is seeking an experienced Render Supervisor to lead operations within a busy rendering department. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll oversee daily production, drive safety and quality standards, and support a team to deliver productive plant performance. The business is currently developing future roster structures, offering flexibility around hours and operational requirements.

The Role Reporting into site leadership, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the rendering department, ensuring production, quality and safety targets are achieved.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Supervising and coordinating daily rendering operations
n
- Leading, training and developing production staff
n




- Monitoring plant performance, product quality and production efficiency
n
- Managing plant start‑up and shutdown activities
n
- Coordinating product dispatch and load scheduling
n
- Conducting equipment inspections and supporting preventative maintenance
n
- Maintaining high housekeeping and hygiene standards
n
- Driving compliance with all WHS procedures and safety protocols
n

About You n

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Experience within rendering, food manufacturing, meat processing or a similar production environment
n
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
n
- Strong problem‑solving and organisational skills
n
- A hands‑on approach and ability to lead from the front
n
- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
n
- Ability to work autonomously while building strong team culture
n

Highly regarded nn
- Rendering plant experience
n
- Forklift Licence (LF)
n
- Meat processing experience
n
- Q Fever vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
n
