ILIO NEMA is a small, independently run slow fashion label crafting resort wear in natural fibres through artisan partnerships in India and Peru, stocked by Moda Operandi, Elyse
n Walker and David Jones.

We're looking for someone ready to own production workflow with our international suppliers, support wholesale growth, and run e-commerce day to day — working closely with the co-founders, with real scope to grow as the brand does.

Key Responsibilities

n

Production

n

n
- Own day-to-day communication with our international suppliers and factories in India and Peru, tracking production schedules and timelines from cutting through to delivery.
n
- Prepare and create clear tech packs for production.
n
- Review fit samples and submit detailed, accurate fit comments to suppliers, tracking revisions through to final approval.
n
- Manage quality assurance: measure and inspect samples and bulk production against spec, and flag and resolve issues directly with suppliers.
n
- Support product development for new styles, including SKU, EAN and barcode setup.
n
- Maintain accurate records of samples, materials and production documentation.
n
- Manage the production calendar and proactively flag timeline risks to the co-founders.

Wholesale Sales

n

n
- Manage wholesale order entry and account administration in JOOR.
n
- Support account management for existing stockists and respond to buyer queries.
n
- Prepare and provide product assets, line sheets and product descriptions to wholesale accounts.
n
- Assist with seasonal buy strategy, market appointments and new stockist outreach.
n




- Track and follow up on wholesale deposits, orders and delivery windows.
n

E-commerce, Dispatch & Stock

n

n
- Own the e-commerce platform: product uploads, inventory accuracy and writing onbrand product descriptions.
n
- Manage dispatch of online orders, ensuring accurate, timely delivery domestically and internationally.
n
- Monitor stock levels across the online store and wholesale channels, and coordinate restocking and reordering with suppliers.
n
- Troubleshoot e-commerce platform issues and support ongoing site improvements.

Customer Service & General Support

n

- Provide customer support across email, phone and social media, handling order, product and general brand enquiries.
n
- Manage general administration: invoicing, payments, documentation and confirming orders with stockists.
n

Key Requirements

n

n
- 2+ years' experience in fashion production, wholesale or e-commerce, or a closely related area.
n
- Demonstrated experience managing production workflow with international suppliers or factories, including issuing fit comments and following samples through to approval.
n
- Confident working with tech packs, garment specs and quality assurance processes.
n




- Experience with wholesale order platforms (JOOR or similar) and e-commerce platforms (Shopify or similar) highly regarded.
n
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator skills a plus.
n
- Highly organised and intuitive, with strong judgement and the ability to prioritise across multiple moving parts with minimal supervision.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising directly with overseas suppliers and wholesale buyers.
n
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and genuine willingness to get involved across all areas of a small, growing business.
n
- Required to work across both our Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs locations; own car preferred for travel between sites and to suppliers, stockists and shoots.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and store partners.
n
- As part of a very small, hands-on team, pitch in wherever needed — from photoshoot support to basic design mock-ups — with a genuine willingness to help across every part of the business.
