The Opportunity

World Gym Penrith is looking for anenergetic, sales-focusedand customer-driven Casual Receptionistto join our team.

n

This is a hands-on role combiningretail sales, member service, BarbellCaféand day-to-day club operations. You'llbe a key point of contact for members while taking ownership of the Pro Shop experience, helping members find the right products and contributing directly to the club's retail performance.

n

A strong interest infitness, training,supplementsand sports nutritionis important, asyou'llbe expected to build your product knowledge and confidentlyassistmembers with their purchases.

n

You'llneed to be available to work across a range of shifts, including4:30am-10:30pm weekdays and 6am-6pm weekends & public holidays.

WhatYou'llDo

n

n
- Work towards and achieveretail sales targets and KPIs
n
- Proactively engage with members andidentifyopportunities to recommend relevant products
n
- Develop strong knowledge of supplements, sports nutrition, apparel, lifting accessories and other Pro Shop products
n
- Confidently educate members on products and help them make informed purchasing decisions
n
- Build strong relationships with members and encourage repeat business
n
- Process sales accurately through the POS system
n

Member Service & Reception

n

n
- Welcome members and visitors and create a positive first impression
n
- Provide friendly,



professional service and respond to member enquiries
n
- Answer phone calls andassistwith general reception enquiries
n
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the front desk
n
- Build positive relationships with members and contribute to a welcoming club environment
n
- Prepare shakes and coffees and provide friendly, efficient service
n
- Assistmembers with café enquiries and product selections
n

n

Stock & Retail Operations

n

n
- Assistwith stock ordering and replenishment
n
- Receive and process incoming stock
n
- Monitor stock presentation, rotation,availabilityand expiry dates
n
- Identifylow or slow-moving stock and communicate requirements to management
n
- Build andmaintainattractive, well-presented retail displays
n
- Assistwith purchase orders and general retail administration
n
- Maintainhigh standardsof cleanliness and presentation across reception, retail,caféand gym floor areas
n
- Assistwith general club duties to ensure the facility is clean,organisedand welcoming
n
- Take ownership of thesmall detailsthat contribute to a great member experience
n

About You

n

We'relooking for someone who is:

- Passionate about fitness,trainingand the gym environment
n
- Genuinely interested insupplements, sportsnutritionand fitness products, with the willingness to continually develop your product knowledge
n
- Sales-driven and motivated by achieving targets and KPIs
n
- Confident engaging with members and recommending products based on their needs
n
- Experienced in retail, sales,hospitalityor customer service
n
- Confident communicating with a wide range of people and building strong relationships
n




- Comfortable initiating conversations and proactively selling rather than waiting for customers to approach you
n
- Reliable,organisedand able to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace
n
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
n
- Available to work across a range of shifts, including4:30am-10:30pm weekdays and 6am-6pm weekends & public holidays.

- Professional,energeticand willing to get involved across all areas of the club
n
- Interested in developing your skills and building a career within the fitness industry
