Assistant Venue Manager - Miss Pearl at Melbourne Theatre Company Southbank

Miss Pearl Bar & Dinning at the Melbourne Theatre Company Southbank is recruiting for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager. We are looking for a star who is personable and well presented a hospitality natural.

This is a busy role overseeing a six-day operation with the occasional Sunday.

- Salary package at $85,000 plus super per year

The Role

n

n
- Lead a team of waiters, hosts and baristas
n
- Deliver exceptional customer service to regular patrons and guests
n
- Ordering and stocktake
n
- Roster staff and complete time sheet approvals
n
- Daily troubleshooting
n




- Develop and train new and existing team members
n
- Rotating roster over 6 days - Monday to Saturday with the occasional Sunday
n
- Provide occasional support at ACMI and oversee venue operations when the Venue Manager is on leave.

About You

n

n
- Minimum 2 year in assistant management/ supervisory experience in a busy fast paced venue.
n
- Robust hands-on floor management experience, ideally within a premium à la carte restaurant.
n
- Confident learning and using POS systems, reservation systems and online ordering platforms
n
- Friendly personality, with a focus on providing top level customer service
n
- A passion for the hospitality industry
n
- Valid VIC RSA and bar/beverage knowledge
