Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Garden Maintenance Team Member to join our company. In this role, you will support the care and upkeep of various gardens and green spaces, ensuring they remain healthy, beautiful, and vibrant.

Key responsibilities

n

Perform routine garden maintenance tasks including weeding, planting, hedge cutting, pruning, mowing, and mulching

n

Assist in the preparation and implementation of current garden layouts, laying turf and clearing overgrown spaces, among other softscaping projects.

n

Monitor plant health, identify signs of pests or diseases, and apply appropriate treatments as needed

n

Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely and responsibly

n

Occasionally interact with clients and respond to their questions or requests professionally

n

About you

n

Interest in gardening and landscaping with passion for plants, flowers, and outdoor spaces

n

Physical stamina to perform physical tasks, including lifting,



bending, and kneeling for extended periods

n

Careful and precise in handling plants and tools

n

Basic knowledge of common plant types, soil care, and pest control

n

Ability to work well with a team and communicate effectively

n

Able to maintain scheduled jobs and travel time to ensure prompt and efficient service

n

Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds keeping is a must have

n

Horticulture certificate III preferred, not required if experience is extensive enough

n

Availability Monday-Friday and occasionally Saturday

n

Police check NSW, Australian Driver's Licence, and ability to drive a manual

n

PPE provided
