Store Person / Warehouse & Equipment Coordinator

DSPG is growing - and we're looking for an organised and reliable Warehouse & Equipment Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day control, movement and upkeep of our company tools, plant and equipment.

This is a hands‐on role based from our Chermside warehouse, with regular interaction with our construction teams and travel to sites, suppliers, repair agents and service providers.

n

You will suit this role if you are organised, proactive, comfortable working independently and enjoy keeping equipment, workspaces and systems under control. You do not need to be a qualified tradesperson, but a solid understanding of construction tools and equipment will be highly regarded.

Your Role Will Include

n

n
- Control incoming and outgoing company tools, plant and equipment using registers and Mitti (SafetyCulture)
n
- Track equipment issued to teams and follow up outstanding, damaged or missing items.
n
- Arrange repairs with approved repair agents and monitor items through to completion and return.
n
- Deliver major orders, tools and equipment to site staff and complete business collections and errands.
n
- Assist with vehicle servicing and repair logistics, including drop‐offs and collections.
n




- Keep the warehouse and storage areas clean, organised and safely stacked.
n
- Clean and complete basic general maintenance on tools, plant and equipment when returned.
n
- Assist with stock checks, equipment audits and improvements to storage and tracking systems.
n
- Report defects, service needs and safety concerns promptly.
n

What We're Looking For

- Basic computer skills and confidence using digital registers, email, and mobile applications like Mitti (SafetyCulture).
n
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
n
- Basic computer skills and confidence using digital registers, email and mobile apps.

- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
n
- Practical understanding of construction tools, plant and equipment.
n
- Current unrestricted driver licence.
n

- Construction White Card

- MR / HR licence

- Excavator licence and/or dogging licence

- Tools and equipment can be readily located and registers remain accurate and up to date.
n
- Repairs and servicing are followed through without items being forgotten or left outstanding.
n
- The warehouse remains clean, safe and organised.
n
- Site teams receive the tools, equipment and deliveries they need with minimal delay.
n
- Returned equipment is cleaned, checked and made ready for the next use.
n
- Issues are identified early, communicated clearly and followed through to completion.
