WesTrac is seeking an experienced Product Support Advisor (PSA) to join our team supporting the Mining Equipment Maintenance operation at Marandoo, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

n

In this customer-facing advisory role, you'll be the key link between the customer, Caterpillar and WesTrac, helping improve equipment reliability, availability and performance across a large CAT mining fleet. Combining technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement, you'll provide support that drives maintenance excellence and delivers real value on site.

About the Role

n

As a Product Support Advisor, you will work closely with maintenance and operations teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities, optimise equipment performance, and reduce operating costs.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide technical support and advice across the CAT fleet
n
- Conduct equipment inspections and reliability assessments
n
- Support diagnostics, troubleshooting and fault-finding activities
n
- Drive preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Assist with planned component change-outs and warranty support
n
- Develop strong customer relationships and provide ongoing operational support
n
- Ensure accurate documentation and communication between stakeholders
n
- Support frontline maintenance teams while minimising downtime
n

- 8 Days On, 6 Days Off - 12-hour shifts

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Australian-recognised Mobile Plant Trade Certificate
n
- Proven experience in a mining or field service environment
n
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities across CAT equipment
n
- Previous experience supporting large mining fleets
n
- A proactive approach to reliability and maintenance improvement
n
- Robust communication and customer relationship management skills
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with site teams
n
