Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation delivering important services to the community.
The organisation has a cooperative and supportive culture, with a small HR team that is looking for additional hands-on support during a busy period of activity and systems implementation.
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to join the team on a 6-month contract, working four days per week, with potential for the role to extend longer term.
You’ll play an important role in keeping the day-to-day HR function running smoothly, supporting recruitment and employment administration while also assisting with the implementation of Employment Hero.
If you’re someone who enjoys being organised, takes ownership of your work and can be relied upon to get things done, this role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact within a supportive HR environment.
The Role
Reporting to the HR team, you’ll provide practical administration support across a range of HR activities, including:
- Preparing and administering employment contracts and HR documentation
- Coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Supporting the implementation and administration of Employment Hero

- Assisting with general HR administration and reporting
- Supporting the broader HR team with day-to-day priorities
- Managing competing tasks while ensuring deadlines and processes are met
The Ideal Person
You’re a reliable, organised HR Administrator who takes ownership of the detail and doesn’t need chasing to get things over the line.
You’re the kind of person who reads the fine print on a contract so nobody else has to, and you like leaving processes in better shape than you found them.
Not-for-profit experience would be a bonus, but if you’ve built solid HR administration skills in another sector, we still want to hear from you.
You will bring the following skills and experience:
- Solid HR administration experience, including preparing and managing employment contracts
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding administration
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate employee records
- The ability to work independently, prioritise a varied workload and see tasks through
