Endota spa Macquarie has been a stand-out business at Macquarie Centre for the last 10 years and continues to grow. Our current team of 19 dedicated beauty and massage professionals need the support of an additional Receptionist.

In the role of Receptionist, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients in-spa, over the phone and email. Using your solid IT skills, you will manage treatment bookings, process gift vouchers, answer email enquiries and be responsible for accepting orders and marking inventory. The role also includes general spa cleaning, including laundry, vacuuming, dusting, arranging retail shelves and any other tasks that will support the daily function of the spa.

You will be employed up to 4 long days a week, including Thursday, Friday & Saturday, and be available from 8.30am to 6.15pm so that the spa can be completely setup before our clients arrive, and then balance the revenue at end of day.

This role will be suitable for someone currently working in a similar high-paced industry, like hairdressing or hotel reception, and have worked in a reception /reservations role.

Management of bookings is critical for the business, and this role will see you controlling this important part of the business on some of the busiest days of the week. You will be required to manage stock levels, treatment room allocation and staff rosters on the day, as well as be forward-thinking for future bookings.

Your skills & experience:

· A passion for the day spa industry, and especially endota spa

· A natural sense of customer service with a friendly, welcoming manner. You will be well presented as you will be visible in the large front glass windows

· A very good understanding of “reservation software” (and ZENOTI would be beneficial)

· An exceptional phone manner with fluent and explicit English language

· Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel)

· A business sense of punctuality, reliability and flexibility

· An ability to fit into and work within a team quickly

· An acceptance that the business operates 7 days a week and weekend work is included in this role

The role will work in closely with the Business Owner and Spa Manager, attending regular meetings to ensure the business strategies are continually on track.
