Are you an experienced Radiographer looking to broaden your skills and take the next step towards MRI?

Quantum Medical Imaging is seeking a qualified Radiographer with a minimum of three years’ experience as a fully qualified Radiographer to join our new Browns Plains clinic, opening soon.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern, purpose-built imaging facility, with a potential pathway into rotational MRI training for the right candidate.

You will initially contribute to our General X-ray and CT services, allowing us to assess your clinical skills, capabilities and suitability for further development. A minimum of six months working with Quantum Medical Imaging will be required before progression into rotational MRI training can be considered.

Potential MRI training pathway

We recognise that experienced Radiographers may be looking for an opportunity to move into MRI. This position offers a potential development pathway, rather than an immediate MRI training placement.

To be eligible for consideration, you must have a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience working as a fully qualified Radiographer.

During your first six months or longer with Quantum Medical Imaging, you will work within our General X-ray and CT services while we assess your clinical skillset, patient care, professional judgement, teamwork and readiness to undertake MRI training.

Following this assessment, suitable candidates may be offered rotational MRI training alongside their ongoing General X-ray and CT responsibilities.

Progression is subject to a successful assessment, training availability and the operational needs of the practice. Completing six months of employment does not automatically guarantee entry into MRI training.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Radiographer who is keen to demonstrate their capabilities, contribute to the wider team and work towards developing their MRI skills over time.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- A minimum of three years’ experience as a fully qualified Radiographer.

- Current AHPRA registration and a current Queensland Radiation Use Licence.

- Experience in General X-ray and CT; Interventional experience will be highly regarded.

- Strong clinical judgement, attention to detail and a commitment to safe, high-quality imaging.

- Excellent communication skills, a patient-focused approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- A genuine interest in MRI, openness to feedback and a willingness to demonstrate your readiness for further training.
