At The Urban Dragonfly, the coffee machine and kitchen grill are two of our hero team members. The Gig

Let’s be real: a Café doesn’t run on Coffee vibes alone. It runs on the sheer hustle of the Floor Runner. You are the vital bridge between a freshly served kitchen pass or freshly brewed coffee and a hungry crowd.

We aren't looking for a zombie who just carries things from point A to point B. We need a energetic Front of House Team Member who treats the floor like a stage and the kitchen pass like a launchpad. You’ll be the ultimate support system, making sure our food and drink lands beautifully, tables are cleared with ninja-like stealth, and the service flow stays flawless.

The Mission: Keep the pass clear, keep the guests happy, and never, ever look like you are secretly doing cardio. Nobody likes cardio.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

- Perfect Landing: Delivering dishes and drinks from the pass to the correct table with total precision and a genuine smile.

- Mind Reading: Spotting an empty water glass or a stray napkin before our guest even notices.

- Problem Solving: Coming to our guests and team with solutions to identified mountains and molehills. Its all relative.

- Table Flipping (The Polite Kind):



Pre-bussing, clearing, and resetting tables with speed and efficiency.

- The Glues of the Operation: Acting as the eyes and ears of the floor, communicating seamlessly between the kitchen FOH food/drinks and everyone in between.

Are You the Chosen One?

You might be a perfect fit if:

- You have a high sense of urgency but look completely calm on the outside.

- Your spatial awareness is so good you could navigate a crowded room backward while carrying hot soup.

- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment is a major bonus, but a stellar attitude and a willingness to learn beat everything else.

- A friendly, resilient attitude and exceptional communication skills.
