The Company

Our client is an established Melbourne organisation with a big reputation for delivering landscaping on large commercial building projects, including hospitals, hotels, residential buildings, schools, universities etc.

This formidable outfit in the landscaping industry has built a strong and tight-knit crew of 50+ construction staff, who continue to pump out projects to the highest quality.

Their repeat clientele are predominantly Tier 1 contractors, with typical projects ranging from $1m - $5m, involving all facets of technical landscaping and now also the civil components.

You will work collaboratively with an experienced and proven Project Manager, oversee a skilled site crew and subcontractors, and work closely with clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

- Read and interpret civil construction plans
- Site set out and coordination of works




- Supervise concrete works including formwork, reinforcement, pours and finishes
- Coordinate earthworks, drainage and associated civil works
- Procurement of materials, equipment and resources
- Subcontractor management
- WHS implementation and site safety
- Quality control and defect management
- Oversee and delegate duties to trades and labour
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other project stakeholders
- Report in collaboration with the Project Manager
- Assist with cost tracking, programming and forecasting

The Requirements

- 2–3+ years' experience as a Civil Foreman, Supervisor or Site Manager
- Strong hands-on knowledge and experience around concrete works
- Experience delivering commercial civil, infrastructure or structural concrete projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong understanding of WHS and site management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Australian driver's licence
