About the role

We are seeking a Field Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in the field with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to the strategic growth of an advanced robotics company. This is a dual role focused on field deployment/sustainment together with building current robots in our factory in Perth. The position requires regular travel to mine sites and client operations, to be based in Perth.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and execute on-site deployment of autonomous robotic platforms, including commissioning and handover

- Support safe integration into customer operations, ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and risk controls

- Deliver technical training for customer and site personnel on system operation and safety

- Provide ongoing field service support including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting (testing, diagnostics, and fault-finding), and upgrade execution

- Maintain detailed field reports, service logs, and documentation for internal and client use

- Maintain and manage toolkits, spares, diagnostic equipment, and site-readiness logistics

- Represent Jevons Robotics during customer trials, field demonstrations, and commercial assessments

- Develop detailed implementation plans aligned with client KPIs and operational needs

- Work collaboratively with Customer, Engineering,



Commercial teams to relay field insights into future features and system improvements

About you

- Certificate III Auto Electrical or equivalent (Light Vehicle/ Marine/Heavy Road Transport/Agricultural)

- Strong understanding of mobile equipment systems, including electrics, hydraulics, and control software (including CAN-bus diagnostics)

- Ability to read and interpret system documentation (schematics / wiring diagrams)

- Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field with limited supervision

- Current Australian Driver's License and Forklift License and the ability to pass site access medicals and inductions

- Previous exposure to mining, defence, tunnelling, or construction sectors is a plus

- Full working rights in Australia

- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance
