RRETS is seeking applications from the Civil Works Supervisor/Inspector (Road works) that meet the below criteria. The position is based in North West Queensland. Desirable skills and experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in the supervision and/or surveillance of road construction, unsealed roads, bitumen and asphalt, surfacing, drainage structures.

Thorough understanding and knowledge of RMPC and DRFA guidelines

Thorough understanding of technical standard about road construction

Ability to live and work in remote areas

Ability to travel longer distances

Ability to collect road defect data using digital devices, and straight edge or similar

Ability to work adaptable FIFO or DIDO roster





Ability to provide technical advice concerning pre-construction, construction and maintenance

Ability to conduct and/or manage audits of contractors work and ensure compliance related to approved scope, and relevant standards

Monitor and report delivery of DRFA/Construction/Maintenance projects

Prepare and maintain detailed records.

Computer skills in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, file management and email

Ability to use apps such as Reflect, Recover, RADAR or similar
