About the role

Wynnum Dentists is seeking an experienced Associate Dentist to join our thriving private dental practice in Wynnum, Queensland. This is a part-time position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work within a supportive, patient-focused environment. As an Associate Dentist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dental care to our diverse patient base whilst contributing to the continued success and reputation of our practice. Key responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive dental treatment to patients, including restorative, preventative, and cosmetic procedures

- Conduct thorough clinical examinations and develop individualised treatment plans that meet patient needs

- Perform routine and complex dental procedures with precision and attention to detail

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements

- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, health and safety standards, and clinical best practices

- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment options and addressing concerns in a professional manner

- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care

- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and clinical practices through continued professional development

- Contribute to a positive practice culture by maintaining professional standards and supporting team objectives

What we're looking for

- Current dental registration with the Australian Dental Council or recognised equivalent qualifications

- Proven experience as a dentist in a private practice setting, with a demonstrated commitment to patient care excellence

- Strong clinical skills across a range of general dental procedures





- Competent in administering nitrous oxide

- Confident treating children - essential

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with both patients and team members

- Ability to work efficiently and maintain productivity whilst ensuring quality clinical outcomes

- Professional approach to patient confidentiality, consent, and ethical practice

- Current CPR certification and willingness to maintain professional development requirements

- A team-oriented mindset and commitment to working as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Familiarity with dental practice management software and digital dentistry technologies is advantageous
